How it works
How drafting is used in this build
Inspexit can help draft inspection report text from inspection inputs provided in the app.
When AI assist is unavailable, the backend can generate a standard-template draft for review.
The inspector must review and approve the final report content.
Image files are not analyzed by AI in this build.
Weather auto-fill is reference data until accepted or edited by the inspector.
Report text edits do not change the original inspection source record.
AI-assisted or standard-template report text should be reviewed for accuracy, completeness, and client readiness before delivery.
1. Collect data
The mobile app guides the inspector through property setup, modular inspection types, sections, checklist items, defects, restrictions, recommendations, and photos.
2. Validate first
The app uploads inspection data and the backend returns validation, section completion, weather status, warnings, and credit math before any report text is generated.
3. Confirm credit
The inspector confirms responsibility, warnings/final weather as needed, and the one-credit spend. No AI-generated report draft is created before this confirmation.
4. Generate report
The server sends structured text, checklist data, restrictions, recommendations, and report-visible photo captions to the generator. Image files are not analyzed by AI in this build.
5. Build PDF
The server builds the PDF from effective final report fields, final weather, report-visible photos, captions, disclaimers, branding, and approval metadata.
6. Edit after
The inspector can edit report text after generation and regenerate the PDF without another credit for the same report. Report edits do not silently mutate the original inspection record.
